About Senna and the VP of Finance Role

Senna, a high-growth technology and AI company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a VP of Finance to join its leadership team. The company is on a defined path to an IPO on the Saudi Exchange, and this full-time role will serve as a critical strategic partner to the CEO throughout that process and beyond. The VP of Finance reports directly to the CEO.

Core Focus of the Position

This is a hands-on leadership position, with approximately 70–80% of the remit focused on long-term financial strategy and capital markets positioning. The VP of Finance will lead a Finance Director and a lean finance team, taking ownership of the end-to-end financial narrative as the company approaches its listing on the Saudi Exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive IPO readiness, including financial structuring, regulatory compliance, shareholder engagement, and adherence to Saudi Exchange listing requirements.
• Lead company-wide financial strategy across planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and investor relations.
• Manage and mentor a Finance Director and the broader finance team.
• Partner with the CEO on board-level presentations, investor communications, and high-stakes strategic decisions.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, reporting frameworks, and governance structures appropriate for a listed entity.
• Apply deep knowledge of the technology and AI sector to shape financial models and inform growth strategy.

Required Experience and Sector Knowledge

Candidates for this role must possess over 10 years of relevant experience in finance leadership. Demonstrated experience in preparing companies for public listing and managing financial strategy in high-growth environments is essential. A deep understanding of the technology and AI sector is also required to effectively contribute to financial modeling and growth strategy.

Leadership and Strategic Impact

The VP of Finance will play a central role in guiding the company's financial trajectory, both through direct leadership of the finance team and through strategic partnership with the CEO. This involves not only managing internal financial operations but also actively engaging with shareholders and investors, and contributing to critical board-level discussions.
