We are looking for a vigilant and dedicated HSE Officer to oversee daily health, safety, and environmental operations on-site for large-scale Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects. The candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols on the ground, conducting daily site inspections, monitoring heavy machinery operations, and ensuring strict compliance with HSE regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily HSE site inspections and toolbox talks for site personnel and machinery operators. Monitor heavy equipment operations, excavation stability, mass filling, and site traffic flow to prevent accidents and hazards. Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Risk Assessments. Identify unsafe conditions or practices, stop hazardous works when necessary, and implement immediate corrective actions. Assist in incident investigations, report safety violations, and maintain daily HSE logs and inspection reports. Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Required Certifications:NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) OSHA 30-Hour (Construction Industry) First Aid and CPR Certification IOSH Managing Safely is a plus Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on HSE experience in major civil infrastructure, site preparation, and mass earthworks projects. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment safety, excavation hazards, traffic management, and emergency response.
