Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Software Team Lead specializing in Newgen Business Process Management (BPM) to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise business process automation solutions, will combine strong hands-on expertise in Newgen i BPS and Java technologies with technical leadership, mentoring, code quality governance, and solution architecture to ensure successful project delivery across the software development lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and mentor software developers throughout the project lifecycle. Plan, assign, and monitor development activities while ensuring timely delivery. Review code, enforce development standards, and provide technical guidance to the team. Design, develop, and implement scalable business process automation solutions using Newgen BPM. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and solution architecture. Lead technical investigations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and platform innovation initiatives. Develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and related technologies. Design and develop RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and enterprise integrations. Perform code walkthroughs, peer reviews, unit testing, SIT, UAT, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support. Optimize application performance through log analysis, SQL tuning, and code optimization. Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, secure coding standards, SDLC, and Newgen quality processes. Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related. Professional certifications in Newgen BPM, Java, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
Minimum Experience
8+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development. Hands-on experience delivering Newgen BPM (i BPS) implementation projects. Proven experience leading software development teams in enterprise environments. Experience within Banking or Financial Services is highly preferred.
