Key Qualifications Educational Background MBBSBDSBPTBSc Nursing Other relevant healthcare, paramedical, or life science degrees Coding Certification HIMAA (CC1, CC2, or CC3) AHIMA CCSeHIF (CC1, CC2, or CC3) AAPC (CCP-KSA) SHC Clinical Coding Technician Certificate Additional Requirement ICD-10-AM training certification (if not included in the primary certification) Experience Required Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS coding. Experience Across Specialties General Medicine Surgery Trauma & Orthopedics Pediatrics Cardiology Obstetrics Strong Understanding OfAR-DRG billing classifications Clinical coding standards and regulations Continuous professional development and coding best practices
