Key Responsibilities Inventory Control: Manage daily intake, storage, and auditing of IT hardware, tracking stock thresholds to trigger proactive procurement. SMAX CMDB Administration: Maintain accurate IT asset inventories in Open Text SMAX, mapping hardware serial numbers to exact locations or users. Staging & Logistics: Coordinate with Field Support to pre-stage, package, and safely ship hardware batches to technicians across project sites. Lifecycle Management: Direct the secure handling of decommissioned hardware, overseeing data sanitization and coordinating sustainable disposal.
Qualifications Experience: 5+ years managing IT asset management (ITAM), hardware warehousing, or complex technology logistics. Technology Stack: Advanced proficiency using Open Text SMAX Asset Management and CMDB architectures (or Service Now/Jira equivalents) and barcode scanning workflows.
Preferred Skills High organizational capacity, experience with supply chain/freight logistics, and a strong understanding of hardware lifecycle depreciation.
