RUWA Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual activities for major building construction projects.

This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive experience in cost management, contract administration, and commercial strategy throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all quantity surveying and commercial functions from project award to final account.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage contract administration, claims, variation orders, and change management.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Monitor project costs and provide commercial advice to senior management.
• Prepare financial reports, cost analyses, and commercial risk assessments.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and oversee commercial best practices.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in quantity surveying for large-scale building construction projects.
• Strong background in commercial management, contract administration, and cost control.
• Extensive experience with hotels, high-rise, mixed-use, or other complex building developments.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, variation management, and claims.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on international construction projects is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as MRICS, RICS, or equivalent are an advantage.
