Job Purpose:
Design, develop, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that improve business efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure high-quality automated workflows. The role is responsible for delivering scalable and secure automation using industry’s best practices and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and feasibility. Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots using Blue Prism. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather automation requirements. Maintain and enhance existing automation solutions to improve performance and reliability. Implement robust exception handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms. Ensure automation solutions comply with security, scalability, and governance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve bot failures and production issues. Document automation workflows, technical specifications, and user guides. Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify new automation opportunities. Participate in code reviews and follow version control best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certification in an RPA tool (e.g., UiPath Certified Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional) is a strong advantage.
Minimum Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development or related automation projects.
Job-Specific Skills:
Proven experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development using Blue Prism tool. Proven experience in delivering end-to-end RPA implementations in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of workflow design, development, and deployment in an RPA environment. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, VB. NET, Python, or Java Script. Experience with SQL databases and integrating RPA bots with APIs and web services (REST/SOAP). Understanding process mapping, business rules, exception handling, and error logging in automation solutions. Familiarity with RPA best practices, including security, scalability, and maintainability of bots. Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with business analysts and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
