Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional Senior Architecture BIM Modeler with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our engineering team for a high-profile, large-scale development project. This highly specialized role sits at the critical intersection of high-end architectural fit-outs (commercial zones, premium lounges, complex interior spaces) and massive site infrastructure (civil alignments, precise grading, and extensive subterranean utility networks). The ideal candidate must possess advanced, hands-on mastery of both Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Civil 3D, demonstrating a proven track record of bridging the data gap between building architecture and master civil site models on mega-projects.
Key Responsibilities1. BIM Modeling & Cross-Platform Integration (Revit & Civil 3D) Civil-to-Architectural Alignment: Establish, monitor, and maintain the Project Shared Coordinate System between Civil 3D and Revit to ensure absolute spatial alignment between the overall site layout and specific structural/architectural assets. Fit-out Detailing (Revit): Develop hyper-accurate, LOD 300/400 (Level of Development) models for complex internal fit-outs, including premium interior layouts, detailed millwork, custom joinery, and specialized architectural finishes. Infrastructure Modeling (Civil 3D): Assist the civil engineering team in referencing site surfaces, terrain models, alignments, corridors, and complex gravity/pressure pipe networks to seamlessly coordinate building interface. Site Asset Management: Model and manage structural-to-civil transition assets, interface retaining structures, external pavement interfaces, and site-wide utilities.
2. Multi-Disciplinary Coordination & Clash Resolution Clash Triage: Utilize Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro to run automated clash detection between interior architectural fit-outs, structural frames, MEP services, and external civil utilities. Interface Management: Proactively identify and resolve spatial conflicts where the building envelope meets the external site environment (e.g., floor level-to-grading transitions, drainage at building thresholds, and heavy subterranean utility entry points. Model Optimization: Implement strict data-management strategies (work-sharing, model linking, view filtering) to segment massive datasets into geographic zones, ensuring model stability and preventing performance crashes.
3. Documentation & Standards Compliance Construction Documentation: Extract precise, constructible shop drawings, internal elevations, joinery details, and material take-offs directly from the coordinated BIM environment. Standards Adherence: Ensure all digital assets adhere strictly to Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and local building/infrastructure codes.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Required Technical Skills & Software Expertise Autodesk Revit (Expert): Deep knowledge of advanced family creation (parametric/dynamic families), template management, phases, and work-sharing. Autodesk Civil 3D (Advanced/Proficient): Solid understanding of surfaces, terrain modeling, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks Coordination Tools: Advanced proficiency in Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Automation (Preferred): Basic to intermediate understanding of Dynamo for automation of repetitive modeling tasks and data extraction is highly advantageous.
Experience & Education Experience: 7–10 years of professional BIM modeling experience. Priority will be given to candidates with previous large-scale transit hubs, airports, major commercial complexes, or mixed-use infrastructure experience Project Profile: Proven experience working on mega-projects (valued at $100M+ USD) with tight, highly structured delivery schedules. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
