A leading Construction Project is urgently hiring for the role of Mechanical Draftsman
QUALIFICATION:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Good experience in Auto CAD (mandatory). Experience in MEP projects is mandatory Minimum 5 years of experience (Candidate must have a laptop)
RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare mechanical drawings including HVAC layouts, ducting, piping systems, and equipment layouts. Develop shop drawings and detailed fabrication drawings based on engineering designs. Use Auto CAD to create, modify, and update technical drawings. Coordinate with MEP teams (electrical, plumbing) to ensure proper system integration and avoid clashes. Review and revise drawings according to project requirements and site conditions. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards. Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion. Assist engineers in design development and documentation. Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and version control.
