About the Academy

The Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (Echo) began as an initiative by Saudi Aramco in mid-2014, to train and prepare national cadres to work in drilling and exploration of oil and gas, to meet the expected demand for more than 30,000 specialists in this sector.

The academy welcomed its first batch of trainees in September 2016, and was officially opened on September 29, 2019, becoming one of the leading entities specialized in preparing national competencies for the drilling and energy industry in the Kingdom.
