Job description

• Fluent in BIM Management of all trades.
• Maintain the current combined/federated Navisworks model incorporating all discipline NWC files (Landscape LSC, Civil CV, MEP MCH/ELEC/PH, Structural STR, Architecture ARC, Theming), updated weekly and shared on clients ACC platform.
• Create and maintain BEP
• Manage and update MIDP
• Manage model file structure in accordance with BEP;.
• Coordinate with all sub-contractor BIM Leads to collect, review, and integrate discipline model updates on a weekly basis.
• Ensure all models are geolocated, linked to the master survey model; validate coordinate system alignment at every update cycle.
• Manage Revit worksets, linked files, and starting view/splash screens for all SATCO-authored models per EIR §5.7.2.
• Run weekly clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks Manage across all discipline combinations
• Classify clashes.
• Assign clash ownership to responsible discipline sub-contractor BIM Leads; track resolution status and close-out in the clash issue log.
• Produce weekly Clash Coordination Reports.
• Ensure zero tolerance for unresolved hard clashes at construction stage.
• Conduct and minute weekly BIM Coordination Meetings and Cross-Discipline Clash Review meetings; distribute Aconex meeting minutes within 48 hours per Spec 01 31 00 §12.4.
• Extract all project drawings (design, shop, fabrication, and as-built) directly from BIM models
• Coordinate with discipline engineers
• Assist the Engineering Manager in coordinating shop drawing submittal packages.
• Support the preparation of BIM-based Quantity Take-Off
• Maintain the Model Register.
• Coordinate progressive COBie data population with sub-contractor BIM Leads throughout construction.

Skills

• Manage SATCO's Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project environment:
• Prepare and submit all formal BIM milestone packages through Aconex
• Cross-verify each formal Aconex submission against the MIDP Maintain the CDE workflow: WIP → Shared → Published → Archived; track document status codes and notify discipline leads of reviewer comments.
• Onboard sub-contractor teams to ACC; manage their access permissions and ensure all Tier 4 BIM Leads share WIP models weekly.
• Perform internal BIM QA/QC checks on all models before any formal submission,
• Verify LOIN compliance: DC Shared Parameters (DC_A through DC_I, App01.5.2) loaded and populated for all model elements at the applicable LOD stage.
• Verify COBie data completeness:
• Raise and track BIM Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) against sub-contractors.
