Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
The ESL/EOSL Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students enrolled in foundation, vocational, technical, or workforce development training programs within a major education and training project in Saudi Arabia.
The instructor will support learners in developing English communication skills across reading, writing, listening, and speaking competencies while contributing to student progression, assessment, and overall academic success.
The role requires a learner-centered teaching approach, strong classroom management capability, and the effective use of modern instructional technologies and smart-learning platforms.
Deliver English language instruction in accordance with approved curriculum and project standards
Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, assessments, and student learning materials
Conduct student assessments, evaluations, and progress tracking
Provide academic coaching and learning support to students
Maintain accurate student attendance, grading, and performance records
Utilize LMS platforms, smart classroom technologies, and digital learning tools effectively
Support classroom management and promote a positive learning environment
Participate in academic meetings, instructor workshops, and continuous improvement activities
Ensure compliance with client quality assurance and reporting requirements
Support examination preparation including IELTS, TOEFL, or vocational English readiness where applicable
Contribute to student retention and progression initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
Teaching Certification
Must possess a recognized ESL/EFL teaching certification such as:
Experience
Minimum 4 years of recent English language teaching experience
Experience teaching ESL/EFL learners in vocational, technical, foundation, or international education environments preferred
GCC or Middle East experience preferred
Language Requirements
Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:
iBT: minimum 100
PBT: minimum 600
CBT: minimum 250
Technical Skills
Strong computer literacy
Experience using:
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Smart boards
Virtual learning environments
Microsoft Office Suite
Online assessment platforms
