Alfanar is seeking qualified professionals for the Alfanar Enginering Services in Saudi Arabia. We are hiring for two key positions: Site Engineer Transformer and Site Foreman Transformer. Position 1: Site Engineer Transformer
Minimum Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
5 years of experience in transformer erection, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erection, testing, and commissioning of transformers up to 500 MVA and ICTs up to 380 kV, including N2-filled transformers at domestic and international sites.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and protection system inspections for all types of transformers.
- Conduct DGA analysis, implement corrective actions, restore failed transformers, and resolve customer complaints.
- Conduct various site tests: TTR, DC resistance, capacitance, tan delta, insulation resistance, SFRA, DFRA, partial discharge (CPC 100), and Dobal tests.
- Hands-on experience with vacuuming, oil filling, filtration, and sampling of transformers.
- Supervise cable laying, termination, testing, and jointing.
- Knowledge of control and protection systems (both old and new).
- Conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and create execution plans for transformer overhauling, erection, testing, and commissioning.
Position 2: Site Foreman Transformer
Minimum Qualifications:
ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
6-10 years of experience in the transformer field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete erection, testing, and commissioning of transformers up to 500 MVA and ICTs (380 kV class), including N2-filled transformers at both domestic and international sites.
- Perform site vacuuming, oil filling, filtration, and oil sampling.
- Conduct various onsite tests including TTR, DC resistance, capacitance & tan delta, insulation resistance, SFRA, DFRA, and partial discharge measurements with CPC 100 and Dobal tests.
