Job purpose

Key purpose of this role is to manage Raw & Packaging Materials as well as Finish Goods across the factory through proactive communication. Dealing directly with supply chain partners inside and outside the factory (Supply planning, Production, 3PL, Finance, Safety, Quality, and Customer Service) to nurture all kinds of agility and responsiveness where cost optimization is a main

objective.

Leading BUL Factory Logistics RPM & Finish Goods operations. Monitoring all warehousing, transportations, logistics distribution cost, governance, and supporting logistics excellence agenda. In addition, accountable to deliver logistics safety, quality, labor optimization, business waste reduction, customer service, continuous improvement projects and sustainability improvements.

What will your main responsibilities be

  • Ensure materials availability on time and in full for production lines within the required conditions.

  • Ensure distribution of products on time and in full within the required conditions. 

  • Manage internal logistics warehouse management system (WMS) and all SAP transactions.

  • Determine and optimize the warehouse and transport capacity with 3PL’s, do performance management for all 3PLs.

  • Ensure all operations in Warehouse and Distribution are within the agreed SHEQ and food safety guidelines of Unilever.

  • Conduct periodic stock count and reconcile physical, 3PL and UL system stocks to ensure stock accuracy.

  • Building the weekly manpower schedule for the contractors based on volume/number of shifts.

  • Monitor RPM daily call off & pull-out.

  • Monitor and organize FIFO applications in the warehouse operations, avoid business waste and follow shelf-life requirements of the markets. 

  • Monitor Booking of direct shipment fleet and export container.

  • Support Regional Logistics Excellence team on supply chain savings projects.

  • Manage the effective processing of supplier invoices and payments to 3PLs, customer claims.

  • Responsible for custom clearance in operations where it is not managed by 3PL.

  • manpower schedules in weekly basis and updating 3rd party employee’s attendance trackers based on weekly plan.

  • Reporting all concerns and breakdown of MHE used in BOF for finished goods operations.

What you need to succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain or any relevant degree.

  • 0-1 year of experience.

  • Fluent in English

  • Good analytical skills, willingness to learn and strong aptitude for communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

  • Strong business acumen.
