Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the needs of our growing organization. With a solid understanding of recruitment best practices and specific experience in the EPC industry, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies. This position demands a proactive approach, strong networking skills, and the ability to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
- Utilize industry knowledge to source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to meet the company’s current and future staffing needs.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Identify and engage with potential candidates through targeted searches and outreach.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on job requirements, experience, and cultural fit.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for further assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Interview Coordination and Selection:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the selection process by providing insights and recommendations based on interviews and assessments.
- Manage and document the interview and selection process in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Onboarding and Integration:
- Work closely with HR and department heads to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are completed prior to the start date.
- Assist in the integration of new employees into the organization, providing support during their initial period.
- Employer Branding and Networking:
- Promote the company’s employer brand through participation in industry events, job fairs, and online platforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, universities, and other organizations to attract top talent.
- Continuously improve the recruitment process by staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Analyze recruitment data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Prepare and present reports to HR leadership on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, with specific experience in the EPC industry.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring for various roles within the EPC industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and familiarity with the EPC industry’s unique challenges.
