Major Duties & Responsibilities:


3.1 Capable of coordinating, reviewing, and cataloging spare parts while providing well-structured material descriptions.

3.2 Analyze vendor data and ensure that all vendor documents for the client are properly certified and accessible.

3.3 Verify that all spare parts from the vendor align with client requirements without discrepancies.

3.4 Engage in technical discussions and coordinate with colleagues, engineers, the QA/QC Manager, Inventory, and other relevant teams.

3.5 Collaborate with the client's end user to create and link equipment and the Bill of Materials (BOM) to the client’s plant through the ERP (SAP) system.

3.6 Develop and maintain the material master data within the ERP (SAP) system.

3.7 Define material classifications, spares, stock, and consumables using item type definitions.

3.8 Conduct data cleansing, enrichment, ensure data consistency, and prevent the creation of duplicate items.

3.9 Input records based on data from the OEM, manufacturer, or end user, including adding tags and serial numbers to the material master catalog.

3.10 Cross-check physical assets in the field with P&IDs, data sheets, and the asset list in the SAP ERP system.

3.11 For missing assets in P&IDs or the field, update the P&ID after receiving approval from the client.

3.12 Create BOMs based on data sheets, equipment drawings, and OEM manuals.

3.13 If data sheets, equipment drawings, or OEM manuals are missing, communicate with the OEM or similar international suppliers (if the OEM is obsolete) to generate the BOM.

3.14 Participate in field surveys at all plants within scope and support technicians in effectively managing assigned asset verification tasks.

3.15 Review existing BOMs with the client’s representative when needed.

3.16 Generate BOMs using equipment drawings, data sheets, or OEM manuals.

3.17 Assist the Project Manager in preparing weekly and monthly project reports, as required.

3.18 Evaluate equipment data, validate documents, and ensure data availability from each document.

3.19 Create SPIRs (Spare Parts Interchangeability Records), catalog spare parts in SPIRs/BOMs, and link them to the appropriate equipment.

3.20 Review and confirm inventory parameters such as safety stock, reorder points, and minimum/maximum levels, along with MRP settings.

4.2 Must be an engineering graduate with an acceptable GPA or percentage of marks.

4.3 Should have relevant experience in a similar field and be familiar with machinery, spare parts, and their deployment, storage, and record-keeping.

4.4 Quality: Upholds high-quality standards, implementing effective quality protocols and job standards.

4.5 Organizational Skills: Ability to organize the workplace and manage work tasks to meet project requirements and client expectations.
