تسعى شركة Wood حاليًا لتعيين مهندس مدني رئيسي لدعم أعمال مشاريعنا. يتضمن الدور المساهمة في تطوير منجم ذهب جديد ومرفق معالجة في موقع ناءٍ في المملكة العربية السعودية.
المسؤوليات
ما قبل البناء والأعمال الترابية
- قيادة عمليات تقييم الموقع ما قبل البناء، والمسوحات، وتجهيز الموقع.
- إدارة الأعمال الترابية الضخمة، وعمليات الحفر الشاملة، وأعمال التسوية.
- التحقق من تثبيت التربة، ورص التربة، وتحسينها إن لزم الأمر.
التنفيذ المدني والإنشائي
- الإشراف على صب ومعالجة الأساسات للبنية التحتية الخاصة بالتعدين.
- الإشراف على تركيب الهياكل الفولاذية والخرسانة المسلحة لمحطات المعالجة. والتأكد من التزام المقاول بمواصفات المشروع والتصميم الهندسي. وإصدار تقارير عدم المطابقة لحوادث البناء غير المقبولة.
- توجيه عمليات العزل المائي، والعزل الحراري، وأنظمة حماية الأصول ضد المناخات القاسية.
البنية التحتية والصرف الصحي
- تصميم ونشر شبكات شاملة لتصريف مياه الأمطار وأنظمة تخفيف الفيضانات. يجب أن يتم الانتهاء من التصميم بالكامل من قبل المكتب الرئيسي قبل البدء في البناء. قد يشارك مهندس الموقع في مهام تصميم محدودة تكون في الأساس تعديلات على التصميم الأصلي.
- إدارة أعمال التشطيبات المدنية بما في ذلك طرق التعدين للنقل الثقيل ورصف المداخل.
- تنسيق حفر خنادق المرافق، وخطوط الأنابيب، وبناء أحواض الاحتواء.
الدعم الميداني والسلامة
- تقديم دعم هندسي ميداني لحظي وحل المشكلات لتقليل وقت التوقف عن العمل.
- تطبيق بروتوكولات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE) الصارمة جنبًا إلى جنب مع الهيئات التنظيمية المحلية.
- مراجعة الرسومات الهندسية والنموذج ثلاثي الأبعاد لحل تعارضات التصميم في الموقع والرد على الاستفسارات الفنية (RFIs).
المؤهلات
- التعليم: درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية.
- التسجيل: التسجيل الإلزامي لدى الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين (SCE).
- الخبرة: أكثر من 15 عامًا في البناء الصناعي الثقيل، أو البنية التحتية، أو مشاريع التعدين.
- اللوائح: الإلمام بكود البناء السعودي (SBC) والقوانين البيئية المحلية.
- المهارات: معرفة عميقة بالأعمال الترابية، والجيوتقنية، والهياكل الفولاذية، والخرسانة الهيكلية، وممارسات صب الخرسانة في الطقس الحار.

Job Description
Wood is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
Pre-Construction & Earthworks
- Lead pre-construction site assessments, surveys, and site mobilization.
- Manage massive earthworks, bulk excavations, and grading operations.
- Verify ground stabilization, soil compaction and improvement if applicable.
Civil & Structural Execution
- Oversee foundation pouring and curing for mining infrastructure.
- Supervise structural steel and reinforced concrete installation for processing plants. Ensure that Contractor is following the project specifications and engineering design. Issue non-conformance reports for unacceptable construction incidents.
- Direct waterproofing, thermal insulation, and asset protection systems against harsh climates.
Infrastructure & Drainage
- Design deploy comprehensive stormwater drainage networks and flood mitigation systems. The design should be all completed by the home office prior to construction. The field engineer may be involved in limited design tasks which are mainly a modification to the original design. Please rephrase this requirement.
- Manage civil finishing works including heavy-haul mining roads and access pavements.
- Coordinate utility trenching, pipelines, and containment pond construction.
Field Support & Safety
- Provide real-time field engineering support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols alongside local regulatory bodies.
- Review engineering drawings and 3D model to resolve onsite design clashes and respond to technical queries (RFIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration: Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Experience: 15+ years in heavy industrial construction, infrastructure, or mining projects.
- Regulations: Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local environmental laws.
- Skills: Deep knowledge of earthwork, geotechnical, structural steel, structural concrete, and hot-weather concreting practices.
