The Role of SAP Specialist

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking an SAP Specialist to join their team. This full-time role involves coordinating and executing responsibilities related to the Total Reliability Program Framework within a Refinery setting, ensuring asset reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute responsibilities for governing and establishing the Total Reliability Program Framework throughout the remaining asset lifecycle in the Refinery.
• Prepare the framework and methodology for criticality assessment and the Reliability Improvement Program for refinery assets.
• Lead and perform Asset Criticality Analysis for all refinery assets.
• Collect data for criticality assessment, lead/conduct Asset Criticality Assessment workshops, compile findings into reports, and populate data in SAP with supporting documents.
• Champion the implementation of various reliability methodologies for all asset types by establishing reliability programs to sustain operational excellence.
• Act as the focal point of contact for reviews and technical matters related to reliability culture development in projects and operating facilities, providing guidance to safeguard asset reliability.
• Administer and perform Asset Lifecycle Management procedures, including Asset Criticality Ranking, SAP Taxonomy, Asset Operating Limits [IOW], Asset Maintenance Development Procedures, Master Data Developments in SAP, Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP, and active SAP-PMs Implementation and effectiveness.
• Initiate and conduct essential studies for facilities and operational asset improvements, provide specialized technical service, act as a consultant on complex engineering problems, and coordinate with plant-wide teams.
• Adapt lessons learned from benchmarks and safety cases, providing recommendations to ensure continuous assurance methodology is applied to sustain the health of Safety-Critical Equipment concerning the Total Reliability Program.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to analyze integrity and performance, suggest methods for preventing chronic failures, and support the review of Total Reliability Program KPIs.
• Report to the Project Manager and lead the Reliability section to deliver periodic outcomes and weekly/fortnightly reports on project progress.
• Work closely with the project execution team to ensure familiarization and commitment with the Reliability Transformation Program.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a relevant engineering discipline with sound fundamentals and technical skills.
• Site Reliability background and strong knowledge of Refinery Processes.
• Training in root cause failure analysis methodology (*, Apollo Root Cause Analysis by Reality Charting or similar methodology).
• Ability to facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Asset Criticality Assessment (ACA) processes.
• Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) is an added advantage.
