SAED is currently hiring a Senior Stock Controller on behalf of one of its clients. The successful candidate will join a dynamic organization and contribute to its continued success.

This role is essential for ensuring that our farms receive the necessary spare parts and consumables through central storage in a timely manner. As a Stockman, you will be at the forefront of managing inventory, overseeing the issuance of items used by our farm operations, and maintaining optimal stock levels. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the central storage of spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely issuance of items to support farm operations, while utilizing inventory management software to track stock levels accurately.
  2. Monitor and manage stock levels effectively, informing Central Purchasing and farm management about receipts, usage, and movements of items to maintain optimal inventory control.
  3. Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records, using analytical skills to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to rectify any issues.
  4. Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast stock needs based on farm operations and seasonal demands, ensuring that the right items are available when needed.
  5. Implement best practices in stock handling and management, training team members to adhere to these standards to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor stock control effectiveness, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  7. Prepare and present reports on stock levels and movements to management, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making and operational planning.
  8. Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial reporting related to stock usage and inventory valuation, supporting overall business objectives.
