About the Role

Applicantz is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor to join its Certification Team. This contract role is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on supporting pre-screening assessments for contractor staff involved in Saudi Aramco projects.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the competency of heavy equipment operators through comprehensive assessment processes. The assessor will play a critical role in certifying operator skills required for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct practical (hands-on) performance assessments for heavy equipment operators.
• Administer written performance assessments to evaluate operator knowledge.
• Certify operator competency on heavy equipment based on assessment results.
• Support pre-screening assessments for contractor staff designated for Saudi Aramco projects.

Role Scope and Exclusions

This role is specifically focused on operator competency assessment. It is important to note that this position is not an HSE/Safety Officer or Safety Auditor role, nor does it involve mechanical or equipment inspection. Experience derived from "safety compliance checks" during audits will not be considered as operator assessment experience for this position.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment operation and assessment. A proven background in conducting both practical and written evaluations of operator competency is required.
