Job Summary:
Title: VPC Field Operator Location : King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah Department: VPC Report to: VPC Operation Supervisor Purpose of Job: Perform daily hands-on field operations within the VPC processing area — including vehicle receiving, car wash, owner’s manual insertion, interior & GDS inspection, PIO assembly, wrap guard attachment, ship-out, and vehicle dispatch/outbound management — to ensure safe, accurate, and quality vehicle processing in accordance with HMMME & GAR standards and supervisor’s work instructions. Specific task assignment may be limited to one or more functional areas based on operational needs; upon completion of training, incumbent may be required to support on-the-job training of newly onboarded operators in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Essential Job Functions and Performance Standard:
■ Perform vehicle receiving / check-in tasks accurately according to work instructions and system procedures.
■ Perform vehicle car wash operations in accordance with quality and safety standards.
■ Insert owner’s manuals, warranty documents, and other required items into vehicles per checklist.
■ Perform interior cleaning and GDS inspection tasks per standard procedure.
■ Perform PIO (Port Installed Options) parts assembly and installation.
■ Perform wrap guard (protective film) attachment on vehicle body per specification.
■ Perform ship-out preparation, staging, and loading tasks according to shipping schedule.
■ Manage vehicle outbound / dispatch process, ensuring vehicles are released accurately and on schedule according to the daily dispatch/shipping plan (Vehicle Dispatcher function).
■ Print and manage outbound invoices (delivery notes) for vehicle release, verifying vehicle and destination information for accuracy (Vehicle Dispatcher function).
■ Coordinate and communicate with transportation/logistics carriers regarding vehicle pick-up schedule, loading sequence, and special instructions (Vehicle Dispatcher function).
■ Confirm and verify vehicle outbound/loading completion, and update system records accordingly (Vehicle Dispatcher function).
■ Accurately scan and update vehicle status/tracking information in the system for the assigned processing stage.
■ Conduct quality inspection checks on assigned tasks; immediately report damages, shortages, or abnormalities to supervisor.
■ Properly install accessories and protection items, and complete PDI-related tasks as instructed.
■ Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks within required time, quantity, and quality standards.
■ Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth vehicle flow and meet daily dispatch/production plans.
■ Comply with safety procedures, yard traffic rules, and proper PPE usage at all times.
■ Conduct routine self-checks of tools/equipment and immediately report hazards or malfunctions.
■ Operate assigned tools and equipment correctly; report maintenance needs promptly.
■ Maintain cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards of the assigned work area.
■ Upon completion of training/qualification in the assigned task area, support on-the-job training and guidance for newly onboarded operators as directed by supervisor. - Work Environment: Work is performed primarily outdoors in yard conditions, including exposure to heat, dust, weather changes, and moving vehicles. Duties involve frequent walking, standing, bending, and repetitive physical tasks (vehicle handling, parts installation).

- Education: No specific requirement (open to all education levels).
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid Saudi (KSA) driver’s license — Required.
- Physical: Walking, standing, bending, and repetitive physical tasks in outdoor field conditions.
- Experience: Related experience in logistics yard / automotive / VPC operations preferred; entry-level candidates considered with training provided.
