The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating daily shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products. This role involves preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipping operations and ensure on-time dispatch of orders. Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes. Schedule shipments with freight carriers, logistics providers, and transport companies. Monitor shipment status and provide updates to internal teams and customers. Track deliveries and resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies. Ensure accurate order processing, labeling, packaging, and documentation. Maintain shipment records, reports, and logistics databases. Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer service teams. Verify freight charges and support cost-control initiatives. Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and transportation regulations. Assist in improving shipping processes and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in shipping, logistics, freight coordination, or warehouse operations. Knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation procedures. Experience working with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems preferred). Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Preferred Skills Knowledge of local and international shipping processes. Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
