We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our engineering team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection system design for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The candidate must have extensive experience using AutoCAD and Elite Software and possess at least 5 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably with a reputable engineering consulting firm.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection and firefighting systems in accordance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, and project specifications.

• Prepare fire protection layouts, hydraulic calculations, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

• Perform system calculations and analyses using Elite Software.

• Design sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, fire hose cabinets, clean agent systems, and fire alarm systems.

• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.

• Review project specifications, tender documents, and shop drawings.

• Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements and applicable international standards.

• Support project execution through technical reviews and site coordination when required.

• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of fire protection engineering experience in Saudi Arabia.

• Previous experience working with an engineering consulting firm is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and Civil Defense regulations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Elite Software.

• Experience with hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications.

• Experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.

• Familiarity with international design standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
