Role Purpose Lead the development and execution of the organization's sustainability strategy and ESG agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and international sustainability standards. Drive ESG integration across business functions, oversee sustainability performance, manage environmental and climate-related risks, and lead the achievement of sustainability commitments, certifications, and long-term value creation initiatives.
DUTIES PREFORMED Key Accountabilities Key Activities(20%) Sustainability Strategy & ESG Integration Develop and periodically review the organization's sustainability and ESG strategy aligned with business objectives. Establish sustainability objectives, KPIs, and long-term performance targets. Integrate ESG principles into corporate policies, projects, and operational activities. Evaluate emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and opportunities. Ensure alignment with national and international sustainability frameworks and commitments. Advise executive leadership on sustainability priorities, risks, and opportunities.(20%) Sustainability Planning & Governance Develop and maintain Sustainability Management Plans and governance frameworks. Establish sustainability policies, procedures, and accountability mechanisms. Ensure sustainability requirements are integrated into business and project processes. Monitor compliance with internal sustainability policies and standards.(15%) ESG Reporting, Disclosure & Performance Management Lead ESG reporting and disclosures in accordance with GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISSB frameworks. Develop sustainability dashboards and performance reporting mechanisms. Monitor sustainability KPIs and organizational ESG performance. Prepare executive-level sustainability reports and presentations. Ensure accuracy and integrity of environmental and sustainability data.(10%) Certification Management (LEED & Mostadam) Lead certification strategies and compliance requirements. Maintain certification scorecards and documentation. Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to achieve targeted certification levels. Ensure timely submission of all certification requirements.(10%) Net Zero, Carbon Management & Climate Initiatives Lead Net Zero and decarbonization initiatives. Oversee carbon accounting and GHG emissions reporting. Monitor energy, carbon, and water performance indicators. Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and reduce emissions.(10%) Sustainability Risk Management Conduct sustainability and climate-related risk assessments. Maintain sustainability risk registers and mitigation plans. Monitor regulatory compliance risks and emerging ESG requirements. Escalate critical sustainability and environmental risks to leadership(10%) Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop sustainability team members. Establish performance objectives and development plans. Promote knowledge sharing and sustainability capability building. Support succession planning and team effectiveness initiatives.

Lead sustainability awareness and engagement programs. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and sustainability campaigns. Promote a culture of sustainability across the organization. JOB SPECIFICATIONSIndustry / Domain Project Necessary Knowledge and Experience Minimum 12+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or construction-related sectors. Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability and ESG strategies. Extensive knowledge of sustainability governance, reporting, and disclosure requirements. Demonstrated experience in LEED, Mostadam, and sustainability certification programs. Experience in carbon management, GHG accounting, and Net Zero initiatives. Strong understanding of sustainability and climate-related risk management. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and strategic sustainability programs. Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence organizational sustainability objectives. Education and Certification Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or Business Administration is preferred. LEED Accredited Professional certification preferred. Mostadam certification or equivalent preferred. Professional ESG-related certifications (GRI, SASB, ISSB, ESG Investing, or equivalent) are preferred.
