Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose: The Technician role is to maintain, repair various Air Conditions, products to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency when visiting customers and carry out requested maintenance jobs as per the job received from the Customer service, application or supervisor. Responsibilities: Perform service maintenance jobs to ensure AC longevity as received from the Customer service, Direct Customers or Supervisor. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly, using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective parts or components as needed to restore functionality. Document all maintenance and activities accurately for record-keeping purposes. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks. In the case where additional problems are identified during inspection, the technicians shall report it to their supervisors immediately, for further advice. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the field and product. Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Provide training and guidance to assistant technicians or new hires as required. Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations. Test-run the unit to ensure satisfactory completion of the service job. Ensure the job is completed to the customer s satisfaction accordingly. Ensure effective necessary tools, consumables, and spares are available in the service vehicle. Coordinate with the respective assistant technician & ensure the Vehicles Preventive Maintenance Checklist is properly implemented. Strictly adhere to prescribed safety practices & use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment provided. Maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and performance to drive satisfaction and long-term success. Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting high standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and a positive organizational culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Technical, AC & Refrigeration Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Diploma or Certification from a recognized institution.
• 3-5 years of experience as a technician or similar role, preferably in the relevant industry.
• Proven experience as a technician or similar role, preferably in the relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
