Job Summary: The Junior Engineer Testing & Commissioning (T&C) will support execution of commissioning activities for Solar PV plants and Substations (SS). The role involves hands-on testing, verification of electrical systems, and ensuring all equipment is commissioned safely and in compliance with project specifications and standards. Key Responsibilities: Support the Commissioning Manager/Lead in execution of T&C activities at site. Perform testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems and Substation equipment. Assist in commissioning of: MV & LV Switchgear Power & Auxiliary Transformers CTs, VTs, Circuit Breakers Inverters, SCADA systems, and associated PV equipment MV & LV cables Conduct AC/DC scheme checks for switchgear and control panels. Carry out primary and secondary injection testing for protection systems. Operate testing equipment such as relay test kits, insulation testers, and multimeters. Assist in major testing activities like stability tests and sensitivity checks. Understand and verify control logic, interlocks, and protection schemes. Support troubleshooting and rectification of electrical and control issues. Prepare and maintain test reports and commissioning documentation. Update and prepare red mark-up (as-built) drawings. Ensure strict adherence to HSE and site safety procedures.
