As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing the Food Service and Food Manufacturing business profitably, while supporting the company’s journey to become a key player in the functional dairy applications sector across the Middle East. This role involves close collaboration with international and regional teams, with a strong focus on delivering value to customers and driving market growth.
Key Areas of Responsibility Manage and grow sales by developing and executing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, expense controls, and payment collections. Take ownership of accurate monthly sales forecasts to ensure effective raw material and production planning. Drive an ambitious growth strategy for the Bakery channel; manage existing accounts and develop new industrial bakery and food manufacturing customers. Develop and implement a growth plan for the B2B dairy market with a focus on local market penetration. Build strong technical and commercial knowledge to position the company as a solutions provider rather than a commodity seller. Work closely with customers and internal teams across Commercial, Supply Chain, Insights, NPD & Innovation to develop tailored functional product solutions. Develop an in-depth understanding of local consumer and bakery market strategies; attend customer meetings and proactively influence business development. Analyze and report on local market data to maximize business performance, identify new opportunities, and drive growth strategies. Optimize commercial and operational processes in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class customer service. Develop annual commercial budgets in line with business objectives; monitor performance against KPIs and update forecasts regularly. Prepare management reports and continuously recommend strategies for business improvement. Act as the local Food Manufacturing expert, providing market insights and trends to the wider regional team.
Key Requirements Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.5–7 years of sales/commercial experience in Food Service, QSR, Bakery, or Dairy industries. Highly energetic with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills. Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to close opportunities effectively. Ability to interpret P&L, value chains, and numerical data; strong attention to detail with a sense of ownership and accountability. Capable of building multi-level relationships within customer organizations. Collaborative, resilient, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills. High level of integrity, self-motivation, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel as required. Based in KSA, working closely with cross-functional and regional teams/customers.
