They are currently seeking a Design Engineer, Civil to join their team.

Role Overview

The Design Engineer, Civil will be responsible for contributing to design and engineering projects within DAR Engineering's diverse portfolio. This full-time position requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience in civil design engineering, focusing on technical execution and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Train subordinates and build an effective team to ensure work efficiency.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates across all work aspects.
• Delegate tasks to subordinates for each respective assignment.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain team morale and motivation.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution status of planned tasks.
• Resolve emerging problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in civil design engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Proficiency in managing project timelines and resource allocation.
