About the Role

Al-Jabr Talqi Saudi Arabia Company is seeking a Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor to join its team in Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time role aims to ensure the application of safety and occupational health standards and regulations within facilities, and to contribute to creating a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor handles a range of vital tasks to ensure compliance and prevention, including:

• Monitoring the application of laws, regulations, and instructions related to safety and occupational health.
• Carrying out periodic and incident inspections at work sites and recording results, comparing them with established standards.
• Measuring environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, noise, and vibration using specialized equipment and documenting results.
• Following up on environmental hazard remediation in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Preparing and arranging investigation materials for accidents and injuries, conducting investigations, and documenting results.
• Preparing occupational health and safety instructions and procedures, safe work instructions, and evacuation guidance.
• Raising workers’ awareness of approved instructions and procedures to ensure adherence.
• Preparing and presenting periodic work reports and documenting and preserving them.

Scope of Work

The supervisor’s scope includes monitoring the implementation of all safety and occupational health regulations and instructions across all company facilities, with emphasis on environmental measurements and incident investigations to ensure a risk-free work environment as much as possible.

Investigation and Reporting

Investigation of accidents and injuries is an essential part of the role, where the supervisor prepares necessary materials, conducts field investigations, and precisely documents all results. The supervisor is also responsible for preparing and presenting periodic work reports that illustrate safety and compliance status.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in occupational health and safety, making it a suitable opportunity for ambitious candidates at the start of their career or with limited experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jubail City, Eastern Region, and requires adherence to high occupational safety standards in an industrial environment.
