MENA-BIG is a Spanish company specialized in Recruitment Services, Human Resource Consultancy, Administration Management, International Business Development, and Strategic Consultancy, with offices in Europe, the Middle East, and the Gulf Region. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electrician for an upcoming project in Saudi Arabia.

We are exclusively looking for Algerian professionals who are willing to relocate to KSA and join one of our client’s projects in Saudi Arabia as Maintenance RIG Electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair power distribution systems, switchgear, MCCs (Motor Control Centers), transformers, generators, and electric motors.
• Ensure proper function and calibration of PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and SCADA systems.

2. Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis

• Diagnose electrical faults, power failures, and short circuits.
• Perform voltage, current, and continuity testing using electrical diagnostic tools.

3. Compliance & Safety

• Follow and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and electrical safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, ATEX, and API standards for electrical installations in hazardous zones.

4. Supervision & Training

• Lead and mentor junior electricians and technicians in best practices and safety compliance.
• Conduct training sessions on electrical troubleshooting, power distribution, and hazardous area installations.
• Ensure team members adhere to industry standards and maintenance schedules.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and operations teams for maintenance activities.
• Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation of electrical work.
• Assist in procurement by identifying required spare parts, electrical components, and tools.

Skills

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in oil and gas electrical maintenance, with at least 5 years as a Senior Electrician.
• Experience working on drilling rigs, onshore platforms, or production facilities.
• Hands-on experience with ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE, or similar electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, automation, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with hazardous area electrical installations (Ex-rated equipment, ATEX, IECEx standards).

Certifications (Preferred):

• H2S Awareness & Safety Certification
• Rig Pass / IADC or API Certification
• BOSIET / HUET (for offshore operations)
• CompEx / ATEX Certification (Hazardous Area Installations)
• OSHA / NEBOSH Safety Certification
• First Aid & Firefighting Training

Additional Requirements (Specific to this position):

• Nationality: Algerian nationals only.
• Availability: Must be willing and available to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project.
• Valid travel documents and ability to obtain a KSA work visa.
