About Outdoor Factory MEA and the Role

Outdoor Factory MEA is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for supporting our projects through expert BIM modeling and the creation of detailed shop-drawings.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the in-house development of precise and comprehensive BIM models and shop-drawings, primarily utilizing Revit BIM software. This role requires close collaboration with project design consultants and our subcontractors to ensure all drawings consistently meet project IFC drawing standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed BIM models up to LOD400 and LOD500.
• Produce comprehensive and accurate shop-drawings.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure efficient and precise drawing production.
• Ensure all shop-drawings comply with project requirements, specifications, and relevant local building codes.
• Assume responsibility for the coordination of all disciplines, conduct clash detection, and resolve any conflicts within the BIM models.
• Manage Revit project setup and workset/model management in accordance with established company standards.
• Stay informed about advancements in BIM technology and software to maintain best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience as a BIM Engineer or in a directly related role.
• Demonstrated expertise in BIM modeling and the creation of detailed shop-drawings.
• Strong understanding of project IFC drawing standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with local building codes and compliance requirements.

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Revit BIM software is mandatory.
• Ability to develop BIM models to high Levels of Development (LOD400 and LOD500).
• Proven experience with clash detection and conflict resolution within BIM models.
• Competence in Revit project setup and efficient workset/model management.
