About the Role
ChampionX is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing comprehensive HR functions and fostering employee engagement and performance across operations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, with candidates possessing up to 5 years of experience being well-suited for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the HR function and associated duties within Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
- Exercise individual judgment in addressing potential or actual concerns, escalating them to management as appropriate.
- Implement plans to build employee engagement by understanding individual and organizational behavior.
- Build strong relationships within management teams, coaching and consulting leaders on effective conflict management.
- Ensure efficient and appropriate management of all compliance and regulatory matters, including adherence to employment laws.
Talent Acquisition and Management
- Lead the recruitment process, encompassing screening, interviewing, hiring (including compensation proposals and job offers), and new employee orientation.
- Administer the full recruitment cycle from requisition management and job description preparation to advertising, sourcing, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Organize pre-employment checks and prepare/issue offer letters, contracts, and other employment-related documentation.
- Assist with the delivery of manager and employee education on the company's Talent Management programs, including annual performance reviews and talent assessment.
- Support the annual Talent Assessment process, including succession planning, and monitor completion rates, providing reports to management.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conducting disciplinary actions and grievances in compliance with local labor laws.
- Ensure efficient exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing gathered information.
Compensation, Benefits, and HR Operations
- Recommend and support Compensation & Benefits initiatives and analysis, preparing proposals for new hires, promotions, and relocations.
- Administer employee benefits such as Medical & Life Insurance and Flight Allowances.
- Provide impartial advice to line managers and employees on general HR queries, requests, and Company Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to create, maintain, and manage reliable internal HR policies and processes.
- Deliver change programs to drive cultural change and improved HR practices, ensuring stakeholder readiness and effective communication.
- Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of confidential personnel files, collating both manual and HRIS reports.
- Input new hires, terminations, and other changes into the HRIS, and provide managers with education on Workday.
- Ensure compliance with Immigration Legislation by maintaining records and initiating appropriate applications for work permits and visas, coordinating with the Government Relation Officer.
- Manage the payroll process in close liaison with external payroll providers, submitting monthly information by agreed deadlines.
- Assist auditors with payroll and employee inquiries during year-end and interim audits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role within global multinational companies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, verbally and in writing.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is preferred.
