The Role: Lecturer in Mathematics

Alghad College is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer in Mathematics to join its faculty. This is a full-time position, primarily based in Jeddah and Makkah. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction in Mathematics and Statistics, contributing to the college's educational mission, and fostering a stimulating learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement educational and training programs in accordance with the study plan and prescribed teaching load.
• Teach assigned courses and conduct exercises and practical lessons as per official quotas.
• Manage all tasks related to course examinations, including setting questions, grading, reviewing, and auditing.
• Communicate the latest developments in the field of specialization to students.
• Participate in the development of college programs and work procedures.
• Contribute to department councils, committees, college activities, and scientific research programs.
• Attend and actively participate in department council sessions, including voting on decisions and recommendations.
• Maintain order within classrooms and laboratories.
• Perform scientific research, academic advising, administrative, and other academic duties in addition to the teaching load.
• Actively contribute to conducting scientific research within the specialization.
• Execute required quality assurance tasks and prepare necessary reports for courses.
• Foster constructive competition among students and encourage innovation and creativity.
• Prepare necessary periodic reports required by the college or scientific departments.
• Uphold the college's reputation and property, maintain order, and ensure student safety.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of academic experience in the field of specialization is required.
• The academic degree must be from a Saudi university or a university recommended by the Ministry of Education, with proof of degree equivalency from the Ministry of Education.
• Applicants must have a grade of "Good" or higher in their Bachelor's degree.
• All university qualifications must have been obtained through full-time study.
• There must be an extension in the specialization for lecturer and faculty member positions.

Work Environment and General Conditions

This role requires a commitment of 48 hours weekly, with full-time dedication to working at the college. Candidates must successfully pass a personal interview. The selected individual will be expected to adhere to all applicable regulations, laws, rules, and instructions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to refrain from infringing upon religion or interfering in politics.
