About Crown Holdings and the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a dedicated Back End Necker Mechanic to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the efficiency and performance of high-speed can-making equipment within our production facilities.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Back End Necker Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation and improvement of our advanced machinery. Your work will directly contribute to the production of high-quality metal packaging, supporting some of the world's most recognized brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on Back End and LSM Necker machinery.
• Conduct daily checks and continuous monitoring of plant and production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Support equipment overhauls, facilitate height and diameter changes, and implement mechanical upgrades.
• Assist with the installation, trials, and commissioning processes for new machinery.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently using the Apriso system within agreed timeframes.
• Rebuild unit spares and effectively manage the inventory of spare parts.
• Provide training and support to team members and cover shifts as required to maintain operational continuity.
• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) and perform various machining tasks, including turning, milling, and grinding, when necessary.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Technical Skills and Operational Support

The position requires practical skills in mechanical maintenance and the ability to operate specialized equipment. Proficiency in using maintenance management systems like Apriso is beneficial. The role also involves contributing to team development through training and collaborative shift coverage.
