Job Purpose:
REEF is seeking an experienced, client-facing ESG Manager to deliver high-quality ESG advisory engagements spanning strategy development and implementation, sustainability reporting, materiality assessments (single- and double), ESG data governance, KPI frameworks, climate-related disclosures, and sustainability performance management. Working with public and private sector clients, developers, asset owners, and corporates, the ESG Manager will translate ESG ambitions into practical strategies, governance structures, implementation roadmaps, reporting frameworks, and measurable outcomes - managing complex engagements end-to-end and producing client-ready outputs with limited supervision while leading multidisciplinary teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
ESG Strategy and Advisory Delivery
Lead the development of ESG and sustainability strategies, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and performance measurement systems for a diverse portfolio of clients. Conduct ESG assessments, benchmarking, materiality reviews, and gap analyses to inform strategic decision-making. Support clients in aligning ESG priorities, reporting, and implementation activities with applicable regulations, stakeholder expectations, and industry best practices. Provide strategic ESG advisory services to senior client stakeholders on emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and disclosure requirements.
Materiality Assessment
Lead impact and double materiality assessments, including stakeholder engagement, topic prioritization, and materiality analysis. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, evaluate and analyze ESG impacts, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and financial implications to establish material priorities. Develop materiality assessments and recommendations aligned with leading frameworks and standards, including GRI, CSRD/ESRS, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB), and other applicable reporting requirements.
ESG Implementation
Support the implementation of ESG strategies through governance frameworks, policies, management systems, and performance monitoring processes. Establish ESG governance structures, KPI ownership models, reporting workflows, and accountability mechanisms to support effective execution. Monitor progress against ESG commitments and identify opportunities to enhance sustainability performance and outcomes. Advise clients on embedding ESG considerations into business operations, decision-making, and organizational processes.
Sustainability Reporting and Disclosures
Lead the preparation of sustainability reports, disclosure frameworks, and reporting readiness assessments. Develop ESG reporting approaches aligned with leading frameworks, including GRI, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB), SASB, TCFD, and other applicable disclosure requirements. Support clients in establishing ESG data management, validation, and reporting processes to enable accurate and auditable disclosures. Coordinate with client stakeholders to collect, review, and validate ESG information and disclosures.
Climate, Carbon, and Sustainable Finance Advisory
Support climate risk and opportunity assessments, including the evaluation of physical and transition risks. Contribute to climate-related disclosures and reporting aligned with TCFD, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB S2), and other applicable frameworks. Support the development of decarbonization strategies, climate action plans, and broader climate transition initiatives.
Client Engagement and Project Management
Manage multiple ESG consulting engagements from initiation through final delivery. Lead client interactions, workshops, stakeholder discussions, and technical meetings, providing clear and practical ESG advice. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts to deliver integrated ESG solutions and client outcomes. Build strong client relationships, identify opportunities for follow-on work, and support proposal development, scope definition, and business growth activities.
Quality Assurance and Technical Leadership
Review and contribute to technical deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with applicable standards, client requirements, and project objectives. Support the development of REEF's ESG Community of Practice (CoP) including methodologies, tools, service offerings, and business development materials. Maintain knowledge of emerging ESG regulations, reporting standards, climate disclosures, and market trends to inform client advisory services. Mentor junior team members and support the development of ESG capabilities across the organization.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.8–10 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, strategy, or related advisory services, with significant consulting experience. Proven track record delivering ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, materiality assessments, ESG implementation, and performance management engagements. Experience managing client engagements, multidisciplinary teams, and multiple workstreams in a consulting environment. Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level reports, disclosures, and proposals. Strong knowledge of ESG governance, reporting frameworks, disclosure requirements, and emerging regulatory developments. Experience delivering ESG advisory services within Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region. Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Green Initiative, PIF ESG expectations, and sustainability considerations for large-scale development projects. Experience with ESG data management systems, Power BI, carbon accounting platforms, and digital sustainability tools is preferred. Arabic language capability is an advantage.
