About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a dedicated Heat Exchanger Technician to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position is crucial for the fabrication, assembly, testing, and maintenance of heat exchangers, ensuring all units adhere to stringent quality standards, design specifications, and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Heat Exchanger Technician plays a central role in the production and upkeep of critical industrial components. This involves hands-on work in a fabrication or manufacturing setting, contributing directly to the operational integrity and performance of heat exchanger units from their initial construction through their service life.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install heat exchangers in strict accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, including welding machines, bending machines, and cutting tools.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of components to verify compliance with established quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heat exchanger units to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate effectively with design and production teams to identify and resolve technical issues encountered during the fabrication process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of fabrication processes, materials utilized, and all test results.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and ensure full compliance with relevant industry standards, such as ASME, API, or other applicable regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the fabrication, assembly, testing, or maintenance of heat exchangers.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and design specifications.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining standard fabrication equipment.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
