About the EFL Instructor Role

Applicantz is seeking a dedicated EFL Instructor to join our team in Dammam, located in the Eastern Region. This full-time position focuses on delivering academic English language instruction and key skills programs to trainees. The role requires a professional educator committed to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.

Role Context and Program Focus

As an EFL Instructor, you will primarily be responsible for teaching the English language curriculum to SPSP trainees. The scope of this role also extends to delivering other essential Key Skills programs, including but not limited to, employability, and health & safety. This ensures trainees receive comprehensive preparation for their future endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the prescribed English language curriculum to SPSP trainees.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare resources for the foundation program, such as revision materials, test question banks, and other remedial resources.
• Monitor student progress and analyze test results to identify and address areas requiring improvement.
• Conduct remedial and/or make-up lessons as necessary.
• Provide substitute coverage for other faculty members in cases of absence.
• Adhere to and encourage trainees to follow SPSP rules and regulations.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans, ensuring adherence to prescribed pacing schedules for the curriculum.
• Attend team meetings as required.
• Utilize and collaborate effectively with various SPSP departments, including operations, support services, and student affairs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as TESOL, TEFL, or Education.
• A recognized teaching certificate, such as CELTA.
• IELTS or equivalent (required for bilingual candidates only).

Experience and Professional Attributes

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a teaching role, preferably within a vocational or higher education institution.
• Experience in a technical context is desirable.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• A willingness to assist others and meet staff and student needs, coupled with readiness to follow directions.
• Ability to show initiative by seeking to learn and recognize work procedures and policies, and knowing how to locate information.
• Exhibit reliability and independence in performing duties.
