GE Vernova is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for the accurate and safe assembly, disassembly, and inspection of gas turbine components. The role requires a strong commitment to quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for ensuring all components are processed in strict accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards. This position demands a high level of mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and consistent adherence to all safety and quality procedures. The assembler will work collaboratively with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to meet product performance, reliability, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment components and modules following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, and feeler gauges, to verify tolerances and clearances.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly procedures accurately.
• Execute documented processes for bolting, torquing, alignment, and fit-up of components.
• Perform component inspections and document results in accordance with quality and traceability requirements.
• Identify, report, and contribute to the resolution of non-conformances or assembly-related issues.
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including those for lifting, rigging, and handling heavy or sensitive components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistent with 5S or site standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and other technicians to ensure correct assembly and adherence to production schedules.
• Support disassembly, inspection, and reassembly activities during overhauls and repairs.
• Complete all required documentation, checklists, and electronic records accurately and on time.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Comply with all company policies, environmental regulations, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related technical field. A strong mechanical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail are fundamental requirements for success in this role.
