About the Role

Egis is seeking an experienced Logistic Manager PMC to join our consultancy firm in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing all logistics operations, supply chain coordination, and vendor management to ensure seamless service delivery for our clients.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Logistic Manager PMC will coordinate and monitor all logistics-related activities across projects to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, permits, documents, and support services in alignment with project schedules and PMC requirements. The role demands strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with consultants and other stakeholders to track pending actions, approvals, resolve delays, and maintain smooth project flow.
• Review documents received from consultants, such as logistics plans, to ensure completeness, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
• Manage logistics plans, report progress, escalate risks, and ensure compliance with project procedures, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Support project teams by maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings and communications, and proactively addressing logistics dependencies.
• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution across multiple client engagements.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Oversee inventory levels, warehouse operations, and stock management to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization.
• Lead and mentor logistics team members, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Manage budgets and financial forecasting for logistics operations, ensuring adherence to approved spending limits.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all logistics activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on logistics performance for senior management and clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and consultants to understand client requirements and customize logistics solutions.
• Resolve operational challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain service quality and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations within a consultancy or professional services environment.
• Strong expertise in supply chain management, vendor management, and inventory optimization.
• Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of logistics regulations, compliance requirements, and international shipping standards.
