Job description

• Develop, implement, and maintain the factory's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with all Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and food safety requirements.
• Implement and maintain ISO standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001), HACCP, GMP, and other food safety management systems.
• Monitor all production processes to ensure products meet quality and food safety specifications.
• Establish and monitor quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain all quality documentation, records, SOPs, and production reports.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits and inspections.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices throughout the factory.
• Supervise laboratory testing, product inspections, and release of finished goods.
• Monitor production efficiency, product yields, waste reduction, and process improvements.
• Train production employees on quality standards, food safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and R&D teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Support new product development and validation from a quality perspective.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and production control within the food manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of SFDA regulations and Saudi food manufacturing requirements.

Hands-on experience with ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems.

Experience preparing factories for SFDA inspections and third-party audits.

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Good knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Good command of English. Arabic is an advantage.

Must have the legal right to work in Saudi Arabia (Saudi national or holder of a valid transferable Iqama/work authorization).
