Alomar Holding Company, a leading Saudi-based diversified group specializing in real estate development and property management, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Technical Office to join our team in Riyadh.
The Technical Office Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting residential construction projects by preparing and reviewing technical documentation, coordinating with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring that electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
The role focuses on engineering coordination, shop drawings, quantity take-offs, material submittals, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
Coordinate electrical shop drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, low-current, and civil disciplines to eliminate clashes.
Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, and method statements for consultant approval.
Prepare quantity take-offs and support procurement by reviewing material requirements.
Review and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and coordinate technical clarifications with consultants and project teams.
Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
Support project teams with technical solutions and engineering coordination during construction.
Ensure all drawings and technical documents comply with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, and applicable standards.
Coordinate revisions and maintain document control for electrical drawings and technical documents.
Assist in value engineering and cost optimization while maintaining project quality.
Prepare technical reports and support project progress documentation.
Coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure implementation matches approved drawings.
Comprehensive medical insurance coverage Pension scheme in accordance with Saudi labor regulations Paid annual leave and public holidays Professional development and training opportunities Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer on residential construction projects, including hands-on site execution from rough-in through finishing, testing, commissioning, and handover Experience working for a contracting company in the construction sector Proficiency with AutoCAD for preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (including Outlook) for reporting and tracking Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, including lighting, power, distribution boards, cables, conduits, wiring, earthing, low-current systems, intercom, smart systems, and external works Experience preparing shop drawings, quantity take-offs, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, project specifications, and construction standards.
Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility to register Preferred Qualifications: Experience coordinating multidisciplinary shop drawings.
Solid understanding of the full electrical construction execution workflow from rough-in to testing, commissioning, and handover Familiarity with RFIs, material submittals, technical submittals, and consultant approval processes.
Experience with quantity surveying and material tracking.
Fluent or native Arabic with good working proficiency in English Valid driving license and ability to travel between project sites within Riyadh Valid KSA work authorization with transferable iqama Ability to join immediately or within 30 days
