WORK PURPOSEWe are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee field construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for industrial projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will supervise Electrical & Instrumentation works, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, client requirements, quality standards, and project schedules. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and hands-on experience in brownfield industrial environments.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIESSupervise Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities on site. Coordinate daily work execution with construction, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and client representatives. Review engineering drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and work procedures before execution. Ensure all Electrical & Instrumentation installations comply with project specifications, Saudi standards, and client requirements. Supervise installation of:LV & MV systems Cable trays and ladders Power and control cabling Instrument cable installation Junction boxes Field instruments Marshalling cabinets Control panels Earthing and lightning protection systems Lighting systems Electrical equipment Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning, loop checking, energization, and commissioning activities. Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and approved quality standards. Monitor contractor productivity and workforce allocation. Coordinate material availability with procurement and warehouse teams. Participate in daily coordination and planning meetings. Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and permit-to-work requirements. Support shutdown, tie-in, and brownfield activities where applicable. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate construction documentation. Coordinate punch list clearance and mechanical completion activities. Support project handover and final documentation.
REQUIRED COMPETENCESStrong leadership and team supervision skills. Excellent planning and organizational abilities. Industrial construction experience. Brownfield and shutdown project experience. Strong understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation installation practices. Knowledge of QA/QC requirements and inspection procedures. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, SASREF, SATORP, or similar industrial standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings. Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 12–15 years of Electrical & Instrumentation construction experience. Proven experience on:Oil & Gas Projects Petrochemical Plants Refineries Power Plants Heavy Industrial EPC Projects Previous experience with Saudi Aramco, SASREF, SABIC, SEC, Petro Rabigh, SATORP, Ma'aden, or similar clients is highly preferred. Experience supervising multicultural construction teams. Knowledge of testing and commissioning activities is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Auto CAD is considered an advantage. Excellent written and spoken English.
