Job Summary:
- To have enough knowledge to cope with technical difficulties to ensure smooth operation of the workshop.
- Responsible enough to lead a team of Mechanics and have the ability to pass that knowledge onto them.
- The duty of testing other mechanics work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train team of Mechanics and help when required.
- Work at the roadside when required.
- Update / maintain technical literature.
- Regularly checking the mechanics tools boxes.
- Keep his area clean and neat.
- Keep and maintain tools and company assets
- Take care of personal appearance.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Recognised mechanical qualifications for commercial vehicles i.e. City and Guilds or equivalent Experience
- Minimum five years MAN experience as a technician
- Knowledge of electric's as well as mechanics
- Ability to lead and train
