Roles & Responsibilities
Repair damaged furniture, including sofas, chairs, and mattresses. Reupholster furniture with new fabrics and materials. Clean and maintain upholstery to extend its lifespan. Install new upholstery and furniture. Adhere to safety regulations, especially when working with chemicals and power tools. Specific Accountabilities Disassemble furniture to access upholstery and internal components. Replace worn-out springs, webbing, and padding. Cut and sew fabric to fit furniture shapes. Apply upholstery techniques, such as stapling, tacking, and sewing. Clean and polish furniture frames.
