About the Peer Review Opportunity

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking qualified individuals for a long-term, stable part-time remote role as a Peer Reviewer specializing in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. This position requires a commitment to rigorous academic evaluation and adherence to strict ethical standards.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to provide expert evaluation of manuscripts submitted for publication. Reviewers will assess the scientific merit, originality, and quality of research within the field of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. This is a remote, part-time position designed to accommodate experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the originality and contribution of submitted manuscripts to the field.
• Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation and ensure conclusions are data-supported and significant.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated publication record with at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in the discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
