Role Description This is a contract, on-site role based in Saudi Arabia for an Aramco Certified Permit Receiver. The Permit Receiver will be responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and managing work permits in accordance with Aramco standards and site safety requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating with work supervisors, safety officers, and operations teams to ensure that job plans, risk assessments, and isolations are in place before work begins. The role involves conducting site checks, verifying compliance with permit conditions, and monitoring ongoing activities to ensure that safety procedures and Aramco regulations are followed. The Permit Receiver will also maintain accurate permit documentation, participate in toolbox talks, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
Qualifications
Valid Aramco certification as a Permit Receiver and demonstrated experience handling work permits in oil and gas or similar industrial environments. Strong knowledge of safety standards, hazard identification, lockout/tagout procedures, and risk assessment practices. Experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, process plants, or other heavy industrial sites, preferably within Saudi Arabia. Ability to read and interpret work orders, method statements, job safety analyses, and technical drawings related to site activities. Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, maintenance, and HSE personnel. Basic computer literacy for maintaining permit logs, safety records, and reporting documentation. Relevant technical diploma or vocational qualification in engineering or industrial disciplines; additional HSE certifications are an advantage. Proven commitment to safe work practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work in demanding on-site conditions and shifts as required.
