This role will play a critical part in driving digital transformation, strengthening IT infrastructure, and implementing a new ERP system to support scalable growth.

Description

The Head of IT will be responsible for:
Developing and executing the company's IT strategy aligned with overall business objectivesBuilding and leading a dedicated IT department, transitioning from a support-based setup to a strategic functionPartnering with executive leadership, finance, and operations to identify and prioritise technology initiativesLeading the end-to-end selection, implementation, and integration of a new ERP platform (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365)Ensuring alignment between IT systems and core business processes including retail operations, supply chain, HR, and financeOverseeing IT operations the head office and retail branches, ensuring reliability, scalability, and securityManaging vendors and outsourced partners, particularly for eCommerce and in-store technologiesImplementing best practices in network security, data protection, and business continuity planningEstablishing IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks to support operational excellenceEnsuring compliance with local data regulations and cybersecurity standards


Profile

The Head of IT should will be/have:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)10+ years of IT experience, of which at least 4+ years must have been in managerial/leadership rolesProven track record of implementing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft D365) from scratchExperience working in mid-sized organisations undergoing rapid growth or digital transformationRetail industry experience is highly desirable.Experience supporting IPO readiness or working in a pre-IPO company is a plusStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor managementProfessional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF) are an advantageFluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plusBased in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
