  • A technically skilled candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the Technical Support position.
  • Technical Support Officers troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely feedback, and support the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.
  • Moreover, Technical Support Officers need to take care of all IT services and escalate to the appropriate teams like network and security team or applications team and so on, as well as create written documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication.

 

 

: Technical Support Responsibilities
 

  • setup, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade desktop and laptop computers.
  • Troubleshooting HW and software technical issues.
  • install, configure, and support Windows environments, Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Resolving network issues
  • Installing and configuring CCTV and IP CAMs, and Attendance Machines.
  • Configure and troubleshoot copiers and printers.
  • good knowledge in the domain controllers environment and troubleshooting client networking issues LAN and WIFI..
  • Speaking to employees to quickly get to the root cause of their problem.
  • Providing timely and accurate feedback.
  • Taking employees through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
  • Following up with employees to ensure the problem is resolved.
  • Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Managing multiple cases at one time.
  • Testing and evaluating new technologies.
  • Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.
