Responsibilities

  • Process and record daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure they reflect the company's financial position accurately.
  • Process and review employee expense reports, invoices, and vendor payments to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage Account receivable and cash Reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts payable and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Generate reports and provide financial insights to aid decision-making in line with Company’s objectives.
  • Assist in analyzing trends in expenses and revenue, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Mentor and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide data for budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting process
  • Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies to the Accounting & Finance Manager.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the agricultural industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SAP system

  • Bachelor's degree holder with a proven track record of academic or work experience in the Finance sector.
  • Expertise in handling financial activities by implementing the latest management and cost reduction trends.
  • Proven command of negotiation skills to build long-lasting partnerships with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Presenting an in-depth analysis of the company's financial statements through concise reports.
  • Qualified Microsoft Suite professional with a proven track record of implementing technology in financial tasks.
