How You’ll Make an Impact


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating inspections with third party inspectors.
  • Physical paperwork & all communication with the authorities. Dubai Trade & Dubai Chamber activities such as arranging BOE, COO, Subscription renewal, etc.
  • Re-negotiate prices and partnerships with freight service providers.
  • Placing orders for direct materials/services (contract manufacturer, 3PL, TPI) with SCM approval.
  • Coordinating shipment delivery, tracking of order deliveries, collection and storing of all shipping documents in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate with customer service team on deliveries, documentation, and associated troubleshooting.
  • Use SAP systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.


Logistics & Distribution Management

  • Reporting on issues and complaints with orders, primarily with suppliers, but also coordinating with relevant CSR.
  • Use associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle.
  • Liaise with the plant and Valvoline on productions and manage the relationship.
  • Develop business by analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures across Valvoline and its third-party business partners.
  • Organizing shipments, developing, and confirming schedules.
  • Manage and maintain registrations and inspections.
  • Operate as the focal point between the Order Managers and the supply chain organization through close co-ordination with the planning, procurement, production, warehouse, transporters, 3PL and other third-party suppliers.
  • Evaluate performance and quality to plan improvements for all service providers.
  • Works collaboratively as a business partner to assess opportunities and manage 3PL contractor relationships and the warehouse staff to ensure adherence to laid down procedures & process and mentor the staff with a view to improve performance levels.
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place for managing inventory in all stock points for all business and ensuring that reconciliation is completed within stipulated timelines.
  • Act as first level of escalation for the 3PL team for daily warehouse operational activities.
  • Participates in the Development and implementation of long-term and short-term of Logistics strategies across the assigned region.
  • Works with Logistics Supervisor to develop a plan to maintain the regional safety targets and responsibility to report any near miss.
  • Arabic speaker is not mandatory but would be a plus.
  • Power of attorney to use DMCC portal activities. trade license renewal, even employee visa renewal activities.
